at least i wasn't the most disheveled-looking person at the Amtrak station... so i guess it wasn't as bad as flying home from Miami surrounded by a bunch of old people and families complaining about a "techno festival" and "non-stop debauchery" (oops, sorry we ruined your spring break vacation)

leaving work in BK at 4:59 on 5/22...quick burn at the house & pick up the goons...get to Newark just in time....arrive in Detroit around 9ish...

unfortunately have to work Tuesday, leaving Monday around 7 and back to Newark back to BK

meh - missing work is fine. Tuesday evening is the most important class - no way can i miss that.

it's called being responsible *shock* I KNOW! But yeah... I survived wmc. Sun to monday non stop to the airport was a big ol' mess.

Hey buddy, unless your spinning at DEMF you should stop trying to play Mr. Expert on every thread. First, I actually have a ride to the airport via car. Second, I don't need a bag because it's Detroit - not all of us need their hair gel and makeup.

Alright, well I did come off rather douchey in that last post.

But come on, trying to insult my "manliness" is pretty juvenile... not to mention kind of absurd coming from the guy who wants to flee Detroit as soon as the festival ends.

I'm just kind of incredulous as to why anybody would put themselves in that position when they don't have to.

Anyways, let's hope there IS an awesome party to scramble home from on Monday night in the first place! Nothing has popped up yet

Your last sentence justifies my whole argument. "Nothing has popped up yet"....and if something does, I'll be there 100%. My entire goal at this festival is to stay as long as possible while there is still techno shredding the GM HQ and then jet the hell out back to the place where the music really never stops...NYC.

I wasn't trying to insult anyone so don't take it the wrong way. DEMF is going to be ridiculous whether your there for 2 hours or 2 months.
