Vanguard was my fav spot. Vibe was great there, reminded me alot of pawnshop. Karu was the most impressive club space, but Vanguard was perfect for me.

the clubs in ibiza take the cake without a doubt |
is it really fair to compare any club in the US to the clubs in ibiza?

i live in LA and most of our clubs are ehh. avalon is great for productions and allowing the dj to do what they do best, gives proper set ups and excellent sound but it's not too club goer friendly, 1/3 of the crowd are the same crackheads geeked out of their heads there every week regardless of the dj.
but the terrace at space miami, imo, is hands down the best space(in the US) to experience it all. it's just a feeling. yes i know the dj and crowd can sometimes make or break an experience. i've danced to some of the most amazing sets in some of the shittest little dark hole of a "club"(detroit) but i guess if you're speaking of just the space itself, the building, sound, bar set up, dj booth, etc. it's hard to beat the terrace in the US.
anyway, just my 2 cents

yea I do think its fair to compare both places. Don't get me wrong, ill be going to wmc next year, as i have been going for the last few years, but i will say the clubs need some improvement. Mansion, Space and cameo are no better than the night clubs in Brandon Mantoba, Canada. lol.

1. Space - nothing beats the terrace at 7am.
2. LIV - the newest club in Miami, the spot that Steve Angello beat up Paris' boyfriend. The developers of this venue did not go cheap on ANYTHING. Awesome sound system , awesome lighting. Great venue layout. I hope they do some better events at this venue next year cuz it rocks. I was very impressed with it.
