I think it's pretty lame how even though I get my internet through Tek Savvy, giving Tek Savvy my money, Bell thinks it should be able to restrict how I use the internet.
If I was using Bell, going through them, and paying them - then so what, I guess I get what I pay for.
When a company like TekSavvy is doing a whole-sale, then it should be up to them to manage the bandwidth that they purchase from Bell.
Not entirely sure of how the whole thing works, but if TekSavvy buys X amount of Bandwidth from Bell, TekSavvy should be able to offer that bandwidth to their users however they see fit.
If they are able to offer unlimited bandwidth and non-throttled speeds to their users and stay within X amount, then they should be free to do so without Bell wanting to get their hands into the mix.
If Teksavvy starts to exceed what they purchase, then they can deal with Bell to get more bandwidth, /or/ start doing their own throttling/caps/etc to how they see fit.
