er, I think I get it. Does your individual DAW just play/loop at a tempo set by vstunnel and ignore the DAW's "master" tempo, and anything played on a MIDI keyboard would just play in realtime?

The tempo is irrelevent. My tempo could be at 80 and Lars could be at 160. Everything he plays and I play he will hear at 160, all of it in sync. Everything he plays and I play I will hear at 80 and it will all sync up. Now, with such a a strech between our tempos one or the other may hear a bit of distortion, because it essentially "stretches" the loop, to match the tempo that its being sent to.

The 1 minute thing means that the biggest loop you can have in the unregistered version can be 1 minute long. So at higher tempos this could be 16 or so bars, at lower tempos it is 8 or so bars.

Live play is played just as it is, live, and when ever. The loop that your uploading to everyone else is constantly being uplaoded and updated. So if you drop cutoff down then bring it up, they hear it almost the instance you do it. [there is an ms delay obviously to send the data to other people]

I'm limited on the information of how it works, i just know everything you play in the sequencer syncs up and anything you play live is live, and it works. :P
