AVB is the trance king hands down in my mind.

The question is who enjoyed his set more the crowd or him? He truely enjoys what he does and seems to really enjoy interacting and feeding off the crowd. I truely believe to be a good DJ you must achieve the symbiotic equilibrium with the crowd. When Armin jumps around and is having a great time you can't help but get that much hyper.

He definetly played a set that included less "anthems" yet still manages to drop a few well known bombs. It was nice to hear southern sun in a club although I'm not that into the song anymore; geting the phazon effect is always good . But all in all his song selection was very good. Better flow than last time. Definetly put a smile on about 3000 faces. But then again a night of trance should put a smile on anyone!

I was somewhat suprised to see that it was not nearly as rammed as it was the last time at the Guv. I think a lot of the "normal" gurvernment crowd were afraid the rain was going to melt their cosmetic bodies. Also the heat defiently made some people get out early. It was literally a Sauna there I have no idea why they decided to remove their fans. But alas at about 3:30 it was perfect in there. Lots of room to raom and not too stuffy.

Speaking of roaming it was amazing to walk around and being able to run into the various groups of TAs interspersed through out the crowd. Huge TA precence and it feels great to feel the true vibe. Nice to see most of the "regulars" and meeting some new.

Not very good at remebering tracks the day after. Defiently knew a lot when they were on but sometimes putting a name to a familiar melody is hard while under all the "influences" of the club. Pretty sure I heard Katana - Say Yes though; crowd blew up for that.

Peace out...

Next up for me:
Oakie and Graham June 30th!
Taucher July 5th!

I was actually surprised myself when I found more than usual amount of space to dance sometime after 3AM. As Time2Burn mentioned, it must've been the heat that drove people away, because initially it was as rammed as it was during Armin's first appearance.

Nevertheless it was still very very humid and hot. They really need some airconditioning going on..

By the way, as far as renovations go, nothing has really happened. Sure they made it look pretty here and there, but overall layout remained the same. I expected more.

i know why the ventilation sux so bad. its so that we can take it up the ass from guv by buying $3.50 water to keep ourselves from DYING. thank god for the tap water in the bathroom, =P. yes. i'm a cheap bastard.

Last night was one of the most amazing nights at the Guv ever!!! Armin's set was absolutely incredible!!! Hard pumping tracks with a couple of new ones that I really enjoyed. I danced all night. The best part was watching Armin really get into it. He really can put on a show. Guv was packed of course but I had an awesome spot on the stage right across from AVB, and had enough room to dance. What can I say, the man is GOD!!!

As for the TA's who showed up, nice seeing all of you. It was pretty much all the "regular" TA's there last night, most of whom I met for the first time last night. Time2Burn, I loved talking to you. Sarcoman, same goes for you. Not sure yet if I'm going to Oakenfold and Graham yet but if I do, I'll be looking for you guys!!!

I LOVE ARMIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOOOOWW!!!!!! Ok, now last night was un-fucking-believable !! I haven't had that much fun at the Guv since sometime in the middle of last year. TA meet-up was even better this time around!!! It was great meeting up with the regulars and neeting the new TA's.
Now, Armins set was so much better this time then the last time he was there... great set all way through, plus he played extra long this time which was even GREATER!!!! It was packed in the Guv, but since the patio was opened it made it more tolerable... depending where you were... you could dance!
some more tracks that he definitely did play lastnight were:

Humate - "Vivid (Jan Driver remix)"
DJ Nukem vs. Chab - "Wanted"
he mixed those two songs into each other.

Solar Factor - Deep Sonar.... yeah i heard him play that late during the night, so he did play that!
Joker Jam - Innocense (PvD Mix) ... hmmm can't remember if it was Oliver or AVB that played that, but i'm almost certain it was Oliver and it was the original mix and not the pvd version.

Ohhhhh crap, i know what you mean. I saw the guy on the dance floor, high out of his mind stairing into oblivion wobbling like he was gonna fall over and people were standing away from him, and just looking at him like he was some freak of nature. I have to say that was one of the most disturbing thing i've seen at a party.

I personally enjoyed Armin's April set better than this one, simply because he played all the classics I didn't expect. This set was sick too...Sunburn rocked.

But, Oliver destroyed me...*sigh* Lustral - Everytime (Katcha's Last Time mix) was the song of the night, hands down. Un-fuckin-believable.

Too bad Armin didn't play Universal Nation heheh, guess he didn't see my message on his forum

And MG, no problem man...what are friends for
