Well, at first it was stupid to criticize and question religion and then it was stupid NOT to question it.
Oh, and another thing. The reason why it hasn't been proved that God doesn't exist is not because "humankind has not evolved enough yet". It's because proving that something doesn't exist is a logical fallacy.
