there are a ton of awesome terraces in berlin.
myra, google berlin graffiti, they also put out an awesome coffee table book about it. (it isn't on my coffee table right now so i'll get you the name.). What makes their graffiti cool, is that it actually has a message of struggle to it, not just scribblings about kfc and guns.

I heard that the women in Berlin are gorgeous. Any truth to that and if so, 1) do most of them speak english and 2) are they friendly?

The walking tours of Berlin are amazing. There's one that starts near Zoologischer (sp?) station.
Berlin is a fantastic city with rich history. You'll have a great time regardless of what you do.

yes and no.
they are not really the type of chicks that go out half dressed in general and berliners have a style of their own that is very umm "granola".
the women are certainly very liberal sexually, and don't beat around the bush if they want a good time.
i find most germans speak better english than those from england
