i'm not sure if you are referring to me. however, i've filed for plenty of trademarks and the cost depends on how many categories you are interested in filing. also, consulting with an attorney will cost you a couple hundred bucks.

I really didn't mean to offend you. All my comments were directed at the thread-starter. I understand that everything you said was completely legit advice--I was just (maybe unfairly) thinking that the thread-starter was like me when I was younger, and wondering about all the trappings of DJing/producing, before remembering to focus on the fundamentals.
