Did a little looking and it seems like that just about all the approved classes you can take while on unemployment are through private means and expensive(?). Also, if you to go a university it does look like you still have to look for work and accept a job if one is offered that pays as much as teh unemployment would.

Basically if you go to a university, the only way you can possibly get around it is if your taking night classes or something.

YOu can always try to get a hearing to backdate your unemployment. It's possible but you have to do some type of hearing.

Not yet! I'm still somehow gainfully employed. I still get salary, but there just isn't any work to be done. Not sure how this works really, but the bar still hasn't said my debit card isn't worth the beers I drink yet....

I type this as I submit my 0 hour timecard for the 5th wk in a row....
