I had hear rumors about a possible military coup to overthrow Colom. Apparently the cause of increased crime in Gua City may be political; which if true is fucked up.

That's Colom's excuse for everything.

Every single little thing that happens in this country is an attempt to unstabilize his government which according to him is "the best government in the country's democratic era".

Truth be told, it's the most incompetent, corrupt government this country has EVER experienced. Everything his government has done in the time he has been in power is one big presidential campaign for his wife paid with federal funds. It's a fucking disgrace...

I say he's innocent until proven guilty. As for the corruption its always existed and I doubt he can change that in 8 months. Corruption has been a way of life in Gua for many decades and it wont change over night. So you believe he was behind the lawyer's death? To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if he was but it needs to be proven first.
