unfortunately the plastic law bag is a symptom of a much bigger problem. Green bags are of not much use to me. But again, why should my situation be taken into account when city hall knows better?

So you're telling me you don't have tons of them sitting around?? Because I went plastic-bag-less ages ago...and STILL have hundreds of left over plastic bags sitting in my cupboard from grocery trips from 2+ years ago.

Thats what people should do:

shop, go at the cash, and ask to see the manager if they want to charge you for a bag, if they don't want to give them out of convienience then so be it, leave everything there and leave.

or

I plan on briging grocery bags from other chains if I have to shop at those who charge, at least someone will get free advertizing.
