Im surprised they have not made a good emulation for this, like arturia or d16, I think everyone would get it if they had it available.

Anyone know of a good sample cd for it? I saw a refill for it but, I dont use Reason anymore.

probably because it's not that old school yet, and the jp8 itself is suspoused to be an VA emulation of the Jupiter series.

You could check mine out, It's a refill right now but I am porting it to the most popular samplers. I could do it for you quick if you let me know what sampler you use and if you interested.

Check out the audio demo.

JP-8000 Trance 01

I can't believe all the dissin' going on, the JP-8000 knocks out some sick sounds, you would never guess they are coming from the 8000. It has been pillaged for its supersaw in likes of the TR-808 and hip-hop. I'm getting tired of these VST heads with their weak claims that they know nothing about. I'll tell you that the JP-8080's filters are a ton better than about 97% of VST's to this day and don't get me started on Kontakt's filters(The best sampler?)! I thought lofi was all the rage lately?

Nice plug.

I've given this some thought. it's definitely not a dated sound, not one bit. You just have to use it right. Even if price was not a factor, I'd still rather have a JP8080 than any VSTi on the market. It can sound better or just as good as ANY of them, there's no doubt in my mind of that. But if the choice was between a JP8080 and a Virus B or Nord Lead, I wouldn't get the JP. But I do see a day when I have all three.

Thanks Bro! Anyone who wants to try out some sounds, I've posted a 5 patch demo. It's in Refill format for now until I port it.
