Thats the thing, I am a pretty awesome programmer too, I have a very logical side. I do love history as well... but more so in a logical or theoretical way, which my brother hates because he is big into history but much more in a psychological, analytical way.
I'd love to learn more about electronics, electrical engineering and stuff... I have had some ideas on solid state magnetic storage for a long time but never had the math or electrical/elctronics knowledge to figure out if it would actually work.
