Sorry, but a Volkswagen Golf is not sexy at all. Something like a Seat Leon 2.0 TFSI Cupra is sexy. (However the Eos and Passat CC are an improvement). I do like Golf especially the GT and GTI of course, but not because I think they are sexy.
But Volkswagen are high quality, well made and have superb engines (TFSI).
I have a 2000 Scoda Octavia 1.8t Combi with 150 hp, yes the GTI engine and no, definitely not sexy, even RS4 rims don't change that.
Volkswagen/Audi mechanics and electronics in a Scoda housing...
Best deal for the money and space.
I never want a car without turbo again. Completely torque addicted
Don't think the GTI and GTD have the same engine, although both are 2.0
Putting these turbo direct injected engines in US SUVs and pickups would be a huge contribution to the environment. They are the substitute for cubic inches and saving fuel. The end of many V6's and V8's is coming I guess.
O, chiptuning brings even some more power with garantee when done by the right tuner (Audi and ABT). Just don't think I need more than 150 hp.
