And if I recall correctly, 6 weeks is typically the earliest an ultrasound will be done. I will double check when I get home.
And yeah, your friend is a fucking idiot. Why would you even condone this bitch's behaviour by helping her lie?
edit: nm, I didn't read your whole post.
Gives you time to get into a safe place, or alert someone nearby, or take your anti-seizure meds.
P.S. Please don't refer to her as my "friend". She is not a friend.
I don't know her boyfriend and I am not going to go out of my way to try and tell him that his girlfriend is a psycho bitch. I don't care enough. Besides, I suspect he already knows since he has tried to dump her crazy ass about 10 times.

I guess, but it still seems stupid, especially considering seizures can be controlled with anticonvulsants.
And anticonvulsants work prophylactically...you don't just take them when you think a seizure is coming, like tylenol for a headache.

My cousin is 11 weeks pregnant and she told me she got her first one done at 9 weeks.

Although they help... they don't necessarily prevent. A guy in one of my other classes has seizures. He takes anti-convulsion meds and *still* had seizures from time to time. It's actually really scary.
You can get seriously injured when having a seizure. This guys last seizure he fell to the ground at a bus stop and was grinding his face into the grating on the ground and rolled his way into the street. He was in the hospital with stitches and stuff for a couple of days. Luckily he wasn't hit by a car or anything.
If a dog could have let him know beforehand, he could have at least went and laid down on the grass or something to prevent further injury.
I don't have seizures so I am no expert, but from seeing them, it looks like they can be seriously hazardous to your general safety (with the falls etc). If something can help stop you from getting more injuries, why not?

Yea, I think the normal time frame is at the 2 month mark or something. She is claiming that she wont be getting her ultrasound until July something, which means she will be well into her 5th month. It doesn't seem right.
Part of me wonders if she is saying she is pregnant and is hoping that the unprotected sex she is likely having now will get her knocked up so it wont be a sham. I wonder how she will explain being so late. Either that or I think she will fake a miscarriage.
Maybe I am just a judgmental bitch and she really is pregnant, but I will believe it when I see a baby or when there are some ultrasound photos. Until then, she remains a crazy person.

And you still don't think being alerted to it before they had one would be helpful?
