Your justifying an old lady being tasered by a trained personnel because the cop used "reason" to convince her to comply? He could have told her that there were serious implications if she did not comply and threatened her with a more reasonable approach such as being handcuffed arrested and charged with further offenses. Do you people have no sense of Morality what so ever? I guarantee you if that was your Grandma being treated with such disrespect you would have a totally different opinion on this. She brought it on herself. If she would have just co-operated with the officer and signed the stupid speeding ticket then there wouldn't have been a problem.

Although it may have been excessive she was warned several times that her failure to co-operate would result in her being tasered.

I wouldn't want to be a cop...especially in the states...even some 72 year old grandmas carry guns.

Do you just choose not to see the part about this that outrages people? It's not about the fact that she was told 5 times... it's that the taser was used to coax someone into compliance rather than defusing a potentially deadly situation.
