There's no party like a Lee party. For fact. The vibe he sets is

He's the only DJ that can turn me into a booth bunny. watching him at work is pure pleasures.

Whoever thought of the blow up animals. high five!

Am I the only one that didn't really enjoy his set? He didn't play like I was expecting him to play after his set in November.

I still had a great time though. That was one of the most fun nights I've had out in a while!

Love

fun fun night-

Loved the tunes, even though my feet were killing me. Why do I continue to wear high heels to Footwork?

Nice to jam with old friends and celebrate Sarah!

likely

James Teej & Johnny White - Musique Noire

older tune, so good... check it on Beatport...

Weren't you just complaining that there was too much 'serious' techno in the city??

Lee's set was predominantly upbeat fun bouncy house. The opposite of serious.

He played a very good set. I think the most important thing was that the vibe was fantastic like in November. There was definitely more house as opposed to darker stuff. The selection of house tracks he played was pretty good. I think the only thing this time around was that he switched from house to tech tribal and then tech house and then there was a mixture after that. In a way it was refreshing to see a mixup but somehow the flow and consistency wasnt the same as last time. Somehow i knew that before going in that night that it would be extremely hard for him to match his November set because that was just mental. All in all though still a great set, a great night from a great performer

great tune but I don't think that was played around that time.
maybe this was it? I remember the build up (~ 4:00min into vid) being similar or the same to this, everyone had their hands in the air.

I've been dying to see Burridge for quite some time now, and to be honest, I was pretty disappointed. It's not that he played bad (he definitely did not) but I felt like he never "brought it". He was WAYYYYYYY too up and down. He seemed to me to play a few amazing tracks and seriously be bumping it, then he'd tone it down to the point where I was just standing and tapping my foot (for those of you that know me, standing and tapping my foot is very irregular for me at a party). I'll admit I was pretty damn tired and not in the best of moods that night so I kept more to myself, but my expectations for Burridge included the roof being blown off the place. The hilight definitely was the blow up animals, <3 seahorse!!
Anyway, although I wasn't completely enthralled by his set on Saturday, I'll definitely be catching him next time he's back and I expect some disorder with a side of destruction!
