If it's smuggling, wouldn't it by definition by illegal?
haha oh stfu.
the duty free website says nothing about how much time an american traveller needs to stay in canada to bring stuff in to canada but lisa says there is a 24 hr minimum so lets just say it is grey area and i am allowed to call it smuggling.

so like any panic stricken person who thinks they won't have their afternoon tea for the canada day festivities.... we venture to the LCBO tonight.
highlight of the adventure:
mom, dad and little boy, two mini shopping carts deep in bottles, mom rushes back to get cart number three.

I was just a co-conspirator in a $700 on the nose liqour run at yonge and dundas...
the comments direct towards the amount of booze on the way to the cab were hilarious
"is that for a wedding?"
"someone has a drinking problem"
"you guys getting ready for another holocaust"

Retail business do not require a large number of people to be full time workers because of the way sales are distributed across a small set of busy-hours.
Heavy hours at the LCBO are 5-9 weedays and 11-6 on weeekends.
If it wasn't for the age requirements they could staff the place with after-school teenagers at $10/hour.
Get out of here with common sense business mumbo jumbo! The last thing this union cares about (or any union for that matter) is how to effectively run a business.

never mind Canada Day, it's also Pride week. The gays will revolt! lol
Wine rack and independents (e.g. Magnotta) are going to make a KILLING if this lasts terribly long.
will this affect bars/clubs? I know some smaller places fill orders at LCBO stores, but what about larger places??

You know what would be awesome? If this strike led to a complete de-regulation of alcohol sale in the province.. Maybe if it lasts long enough the people of Ontario will revolt.
