you can find tons of mk3d's used. steve's had a few last time i was there adam.

Well you have to expect a certain learning curve when mixing a format you are not familiar with. And there's also the time it actually takes to come up with a track list you can be somewhat happy about. Trust me it wasn't easy finding 11 tracks that I liked in either genre.

And thanks for the heads up. Gonna call them tomorrow and see how much they're going for over there

all of this technology and how it is supposed to be easier astounds me.

take the ta mix competition.

no one finishes their mixes because they have to warp/beatgrid whatever they do to new tunes. The djs say i don't have the time to do a 30 minute mix because a 30 minute mix takes hours and hours to put together.

it seems to me that a 30 minute mix should take exactly 30 minutes to do

ps, yes mk3d's

Well yes and no. A 30 min mix should take 30 mins to make, but some people have intentions to make a mix but may have more important things come up taking priority. Also like Adam said, it's hard if you get a genre that has little or no appeal to you. I was able to post a mix for that challenge but it took me nearly 2 weeks just to find the time to do it. I have been quite busy lately though.
