ah ok, I was going for something in the upper east side, but i'll read more reviews and see if I should cancel and go for they one your suggesting. |
For those interested, there is a cross-town bus on that just goes up and down 96th street. It takes about 2 minutes tops to get from W96th to E96th street. Cuts straight thru central park without all the hassle of transferring trains and all that jazz. That way, if there are any concerns of getting to the east side, 96th is a place to be!
Buses to Randall's Island:
One bus, of two, that actually go to randall's island is the M60, goes on the Upper West Side. If you hop on this bus you can take it straight to randall's for $2 with no transfers. Prolly takes about 15 minutes cross town nice area to wait for bus and this bus is fairly consistent with time, as its the only bus that takes ppl to LGA. Runs all night.
^^i would aim for this bus, because:
The other randall's island buss is the M35, which you would have to find your way to E125th street to hop on. Also, please bear in mind that E125th is NOT a place you wanna be at night. I used get off there at 10pm everynight and there is sooo much shit going down, especially in the summer when everyone is outside. so if you choose this route PLEASE be careful, dont look like you are lost, and being intoxicated wont help your cause LOL.
