Sure! Check out Brutal Machine. That was the metal/psy mix I did in 2010, two years before Necromancy Tactics. Also, if you want some more powerful full-on psytrance that has a similar vibe but no actual death metal, check out Advanced Weaponry.

I'll check out the other mix you mentioned, since one can't possibly go wrong with some powerful full-on, but I really liked the idea of psy with guitar / metal influences, which was completely new to me.

Hmm, well I never really gave much thought to another psy/metal mix. I really don't think I'll make another one anytime soon. My mix queue is filled up with other ideas that I'm going to explore first. If you want some psy-guitar tracks try:
