experiment is like obvious and should not be mentioned in any case. if some needs to be told to experiment, they probably should be adviced to find another hobby instead. its like the google/search answer.
just to be sure from now one people should have a disclaimer in their posts letting everyone know that they have both searched and experimented before asking.

That's a good point but I reckon if you have already done a search and experimented then the nature and type of question asked will change from something stupid to something more specific and educated.

Therefore it will not warrant an answer such as go experiment.

I think "go experiment" or "do a search" or "read the sticky" (etc.) is a fine response for when someone is posting an obviously lazy question without having looked elsewhere.

Yeah, nothing is worse while trying to learn how concepts work than responses like that. Makes ya appreciate detailed step-by-step "this is how I got this sound"-type tutorials all that much more...
