for starters, in one year cube guys made more hits than calderone in all his career. check beatport for fun.
secundo, beach club decided to not book calderone following complaints last year... a daytime beach club is not an afterhours.
you are always rude when not stereo attached.
this years line up features 3 international guests not only one like last year. Focus was put on the build up of the day. Sick progression and great vibe guaranteed.
Moreover all these three guests are ibiza regulars at main venues with billboards of them all over ibiza, when you call your event "ibiza", should be a concern, no ? at least more a concern than booking your friends.
Last years line up for reminders:
Victor Calderone (Stereo, Waveform, NYC)
Manzone and Strong (The Guvernment, Toronto)
Danny Torrence (Stereo, Unity, Montreal)
Vivie Ann + Anstasia (Blond:ish, Montreal)
talking about ibiza, roger sanchez lost is night at pacha... stereo is booking him opening weekend... then tell me that they are looking at the future...are we in 1999 or 2009 ??? oh yeah, sanchez's boys are the cube guys so i guess you'll hear plenty of their music there...
PLEASE change your ways !!! i really hope for a healthy Stereo, it is an awesome venue needed in our industry that deserves better, but then again maybe you don't know better... The only thing i read from you is you lowering events instead of raising yours. Something i didn't miss in last year.
well beach club didn't do the same error this year now looking at the future not in the past. They changed booker and are happy with their choice i was told. Fresh new music for a fresh new crowd.
This year line up is for all tastes.
So cut the crap. This is really a fantastic event for our edm scene.
P.S. Etienne Ozborne is Eric Morillo's boy... aspiring to huge international success. Great news to see him teamed up with influential international guests, that also give quite a show... be there !!! |
You put words in my mouth. I never brought up other venues.
I'm going to this party to support my Toronto locals. I'm not from the city, so a mission to Beach Club has to be worth my time. To me, I think that line up is lame and I am entitled to my opinion.
I know last year's party had tremendous numbers and I hope it is the same or exceeds last years event.
And FYI: Roger didn't "lose" his night at PACHA, he moved to Amnesia...and what does that even have to do with this thread?
