Not only is it their smug attitude, but the fact that they think they are helping just because they took this step, yet no other steps were taken to help. Like increasing funding for public transit and actually using public transit.

They do start and stop. I took the train every day for a year, and they start and stop just like cars do. They have no traffic though for the most part, so that isn't an issue.
