It started a few days ago, but the meteor shower peaks tonight, but it will continue for the next few days. If you live in the northern hemisphere and its a clear night, you will probably see something, if you live in the southern hemisphere then you probably wont!
At its highest rate I think there are about 100 per hour.
I'll be outside tonight .
Oh, and it comes round annually, so if it's cloudy tonight there is always next year .
i saw a meteor shower while camping with my dad in yosemite national park up in the mountains where there are no lights, etc.. definitely one of the coolest things i've ever seen in my life.

I've seen it a few times a few years ago even though I wasn't at the beach or anything. It was pretty cool. Didn't see a damn thing in the sky yesterday though and it was clear and dark.
