cool movie, big call saying it's the best of the year or worth 5 stars...
Graphics were definitel awesome, the praawns were fuckin mad-looking, but to be expected from a peter jackson film, the dude's a cg pioneer...
Story-wise it didn't really have any big moments, themes like this have been around for 60 years since kafka, and welles etc...
I really liked the main character, but yeah, i didn't find the film particularly suprising etc...
Great film from an efx/direction standpoint though, no question!

I'd agree with above, I really loved the movie and the main character, found him a bit annoying at the start but as it got along i liked him - he was sexy.
Trancsformers > District 9 though.

Saw it saturday.. loved it.. compared to terminator salvation which had a 200 million dollar budget, and this one had a 30 million dollar budget.. and it actually looks better and more impressive
