I would guess that Cuba is better and the people aren't as brainwashed as the NK's... just based on some of the documentaries I've watched. I don't know anyone from NK, but one of my best friend's wife is from Cuba- her family went through Honduras and got to the U.S. when she was 14. They live in Miami now (shocker).... but shit, the stories her and her family tell about the deplorable conditions there and the abject hopelessness are fucking sad.

I was there last month, had a great time, and would go back in a flash. I've seen poverty, and I've seen riches. The government may suck, but the people are great, and a proud people. They know they can do better, they just can't openly talk about it. It's beautiful and historic there, so Cuba by far if compared to N.Korea
