Heresy...not that I disagree. His new stuff is particularly very run-of-the-mill prog.

It seems 95% of the oldschool progressive producers have either started lazily following trends, or just churning out pure boring shite.

I also have the vinyl, but its the two-vinyl pack where all the labels are switched. vinyl A side 1 is actually Vinyl B side 2, etc.

The vinyl arrived today but to my dismay there was only the dub pass record in the sleeve. The seller left the vocal pass on next to his turntable apparently.

Turns out though, that I got the purple sleeve repress which is a mispress that has the labels 100% reversed (both sides of the record and between records), so I have the Vocal Pass and the Accapella anyways He's gonna send the other record out today

I never liked the vocals at all. Sure, it's a semi-funny story, but they don't really fit the track that well and sound mostly annoying. But the Dub Pass is excellent.

I personally think Luke Chable is an overall above average producer but nothing special.

Great track. Steve May made an absolutely massive remix of it - well it was really just one of his tracks with the vocals layered over - that was never released.

I tried emailing him back in 2005 when I heard it in a Kosmas Epsilon GDJB mix but he said he lost the cdr it was on.

Have always loved this track.

I dont agree with the comments about Chable being a relatively average prog producer. Fair enough, his current housey stuff is quite commercial & very average, but in terms of progressive stuff, I dont think there are many producers who come close to the amount of quality releases he has had. Off the top of my head, I actually cant think of anyone who has released as many top quality prog records.
