sweet...used the free version of AVG for a while but have been using only windows defender....haven't had an attack since Chernobyl virus

as for the parties, all who had signed up for the beta got emails about hosting win7 parties which would be sponsored by microsoft about a month ago...i guess we should've thrown a TA edition....dunno if it would be a party party tho...

At any rate, I gave this a whirl for a month or so and in my experience, it was absolutely gash. The memory usage was simply unacceptable (especially considering I need as much memory as I can possibly get) and overall it just didn't come off as the entire package. Pretty disappointed to be frank.

You get what you pay for, so for those not willing to sink cash into AV applications, well - there's your solution.

Jer I dont get what you're talking about...this has been working A OK for me...havent found any drastic change in core/ram usage on this end.

I just want to say AVG can suck my ass. Those mother ******s made me upgrade by bugging me every 5 minutes. then the ******s fucked with my fucking search tool bar and now i try to change it and AVG tells me that someone is trying to change your search options. Yeah you ******, it's me!
