I just say electronic music if someone asks. Not that I listen to any current trance really. I just don't like people associating my musical tastes with DJ Sammy and Ian van Dahl, which is what they do if I tell them I listen to trance.

Or some Armin bullshit or something that really isn't trance at all, but gets called such for some weird reason.

I doubt it's a jealousy thing, atleast not where I live, trance hardly gets any crowd together

90 percent of trance is shitty, but still there's some good gems out their. Doesn't help that all the top trance dj that help build eletronica, now sound like shit.
