i would say it was pretty weird seeing a lot of under-developed-boobies.

I heard that party was pretty sick. My friend Kara went before coming to the Chemistry LA afterparty in Chinatown at Great Star Theater. Cool ass theater in Chinatown. We had a lot of fun.

An amazing day, lot of time spent losing friends and finding them again and lining up for toilets. Lots of hot girls, some good tunes and a cool vibe. Great to see the city come to life and people dancing in the streets. Was out from 2pm to 6am, that's some serious time.

Enjoyed a few sets, would have killed to hear some good trance ie. where the f**k has Christopher Lawrence been the past few years? Can we do this next year please?

ya man, like i said... i thought it was the best love paradefestevolution to date. a lot of people i talked to disagree with me because they made the mistake of being elsewhere, lol. if i spent a significant amount of time at any other float/stage or wandering, i probably would not have enjoyed myself either, but the listed float was right in front of the vip area so i had access to free drink and clean, empty bathrooms and the sun was shining on our little corner of the plaza the longest. it was truly the most outstanding marathon of music i've heard and an amazing vibe to boot. i heard elsewhere there were teenagers od'ing, pissing on the streets, throwing piss cups into the piss line, mosh pitting, pushing, elbowing through crowds, long lines for everything, shit music, shit mc'ing over good beats, overcrowding and general mayhem, but me... i didn't experience any of that oh ya and danny howells' 5 hour set at the underground afterparty was fucking bonkers too!

Sounds amazing if your into that type of music. We hung out around the listed float briefly and it did have a more positive, adult vibe. From talking to our roommates (Sarah and others) who did the marathon, it was truly a killer, non-stop marathon of amazing talent.

Although the person on bayraves who saw it on the news did say it was SFPD who said it.

But I'm not sure if the "city" would allow it.

And the event would largely lose a lot of its purpose. If parents are worried about their kids, they should make sure they don't go. That's what parents are for.

In the end, if anything, i wouldnt be amazed to see the event moved.

Someone mentioned doing it on Treasure island because they could even use the buildings for stuff...

I agree with you an all of these points. I'm surprised how the crowd gets younger and younger each year. And it's more alarming all the drugs and alcohol they have as well. And like you said, if parents are concerned about their kids, they should keep them at home. I know someone who told me her teen daughter kicked and screamed cause she didn't let her go.

As far as moving it goes, if the same number of people show up next year, it's going to be pure insanity. That place almost felt too small this time.

That's the honest truth. My cousin saw someone who fell on his back, eyes open, big smile, but he wouldn't respond to anyone. I guess the lights were on, but truly no one was home.

Sounds like me as a teenager except that I am a male and I found a way to go all the events I wanted to go to every single time minus one. Resistance is futile. The younger generation loves our music. I don't think they should be put down for that and not knowing how to handle their party. They are still learning how to conduct themselves in society. I don't know about anybody else, but on my 16th birthday, I was pretty shitfaced.

I was more concerned with the 20-something adult woman who was just standing in front of the beer line not moving, not ordering anything. Finally the bartender had to tell her to get out of the way if she wasn't going to order anything. I told the bartender I loved her and gave her a kiss on the cheek for that.

Good to see the teens there. They breathe new life into our scene, we need them to keep it evolving.
