Saw the movie last night. I thought it was well done.

Oh I miss the underground parties....

scored free tickets from the TA contest and WOW this movie was AMAZING! Really well done, great soundtrack and I really enjoyed the multiple storylines. You could really tell it was a labour of love and Amy put her heart into making this movie. I'm definitly considering getting the DVD.

The only downside was the audience questions at the end...

Good documentary.

I think I should make a documentary on my friends and party friends. I would go from parties to after parties and then to their work on Monday or Tuesday. I would showcase the successful friends, who have serious jobs. Who live their lives with a balance. but at the same time extreme in comparison to how others live their lives.

Cute movie! The highlight for me was in the first 5 mins when they drive to Montreal and get stuck in a snowstorm. "I can't see shit" LMAO I laughed, then cried.

I also liked the Awakenings footage!

Ya I thought it was a pretty good movie. TBH though, I didn't really learn anything from it though. I just more or less was able to relate to it, and how music really captures people and it changes their lives.

But judging by directors comments throughout the movie I don't think she really went about the right way of asking questions of the "would-be" characters.

e.g. How many times did she ask her husband "and how does that make you feel?". God, is there anything worse than a woman ALWAYS asking you how you feel?!?! LOL. And it seems that she never turned the camera off. You could tell by little clips throughout the movie that people were just getting annoyed by how often the camera was on them, even if they had nothing to say. just imo anyway. I still liked the movie
