At one point I actually had two DAWs connected using FX Teleport. Once quad core CPUs came out and made it redundant, I decommissioned the second one and now use only one. I've only ever used one sequencer.

Thats crazy I always thought DAW was just a general term for a sequencer, but you're right its not.

Good to know.

Can someone help me with this?

I have actually rewired Reason through FL a dozen times before but its been a while since last time I tried.
I tried and it wasn't working right so even after going to youtube tuts I cant figure out whats goin on.

And I know I'm doing it the same way I use to (cause I found the original vid I got it to work on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaOc...feature=related )

But its not working right.

I open Reason as the client, open subtractor as the 3rd instrument in Reason. I go back to FL and go to "midi options" on the Rewire channel. Go to "hardware interface" then "add change" and then click ok.

I can get notes to play from subtractor HOWEVER I am also getting a piano playing on top of the subtractor notes. I have no piano open in Reason or FL and this never happened before when I use to do it.

Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Yeh Digital Audio Workstation, I thought cause sequencers were digital, and workstations, that DAW was just another name for them.

Technological acronyms seem to get used like regular words after a while sometimes.

Anyone who can tell me what "laser" and "radar" stand for without looking it up will win ten Cool Points. :-D

laser is like light amplified through the specific emission of some shit or something. Radar is like radio detection ranging or some bollox.

You got 3/5 right on "laser" and the whole thing basically on "radar." Eight cool points have been awarded to you!

First person to make it to 100 gets a prize.
