I generally dislike it.
I especially dislike it when they remove all forms of 'free seating' / don't have a lounge / etc.
Sucks when I want to sit and take a breather but everywhere that you could sit is 'bottle service'.

I've worked at a club with bottle service for a while now, I don't really have an opinion on whether they are good or not, sometimes you get a group who is just having a good time, sometimes you get douchebags. The thing is, there's no medium.
If you get a douchebag group they will try to pack 15 people into a booth that fits 10, and they will lump together like idiots when there is tons of room on the dance floor. Also, for some reason I've noticed that people really love stepping over the velvet ropes that block off the booth instead of walking 2 feet and just going around, people try to step over and usually fall. Another thing guys tend to do is to hang out of the booth and grab girls as they walk by, instead of just going on the dancefloor and talking to them. Also I don't get the whole pouring the bottle directly into someone's mouth thing, the bar has shot glasses and cups for a reason.
Oh and another thing, for some reason people in the booth ALWAYS want to either dance on the table or the couch, I don't get that either. You've already made yourself special by getting the booth, you're already being noticed, why dance on a table?
Anyways that's my analysis :P
