generally if its hard theres a high chance that ill like it. melodic trance also works for me but this style got very overcrowded lately and too much shit is coming out under the label "melodic trance"

Melodic (epic and anthem) without a doubt, I also like progressive trance as well though.

I mentioned before in this thread that I prefer Hard or Progressive, but I do listen to Melodic/uplifting as well - except that just as you say here there is too much Melodic crap being produced. I guess that is to be expected: As more wannabes try to produce, the music will become watered down. The same thing is happening in hip-hop/rap.
