Eh, I wouldnt' even say most of the time it's typical fluffy trance. They tend to get into moods of waht type of music they play and go with it. I've heard very electroish sets from them, too. Electro-ish trance, and nothing epic or fluffy ab out it. I've heard prog-trance to a more driving trance from them, too.
Then on other nights, what you say is dead on. Especially the first few times I saw them.
Anyhow, I would be there this weekend but we had other plans already down in San Diego. B&J's sets might not always be stellar musically, but they always bring out the "party" in the crowd. Just a good, fun, energetic crowd. Even on their bad nights, I've left happy because of the atmosphere.
Hopefully they've cut back on playing their classics more. THey used to overdo it bigtime. Their sets can actually be quite different from one time they played vs another, but then they play so many classics it makes it all kinda feel the same.
