The two things i hate the most is
1)people coming up too u and askin if ure high shit thats god damn annoying
2)MC's like they sound ok for jungle and drum n bass but at the las rave here they had him on for stimulants Dj's and it sounded like shit hehe hard house/trance it doesnt mix

Peace Love Unity Respect

Am I right? So I go to a rave one day. A girl OD's on e. Her friends sit her down get her some water and go back to dancing. She passes out, has to be rushed to the ER. Where is the peace? Where is the Love, or Unity, or Respect. First off that girl in her blantant misuse of drugs has none of these qualities. Neither do her friends. It just pisses me off that so many ravers (that I have met, you and your friends may be different) attach so much to four concepts they can't totally comprehend. I, in my personal experience, find that hypocritical. In response to your anti-rant, I really have no idea what you were talking about and I don't think you originally understood what I said. I hope this clears the air.

I hate spliff politics at raves.......don't think that just because its a huge joint that I can't finish it by myself or that I want to share. I don't know where your mouth has been and I definitely don't want your mouth touching my spliff especially with the amount of people I've seen puking at parties.

the # 1 thing I hate about raves is watching people rolling their ass offs, or watching them going nuts on acid.. thats why I rather go to RAVES that are really worth going.. if the environment aint good.. how can you have FUN ??!?!

All I gotta say about this whole thing is toleration.
To me parties(raves) are about two things:
#1 the music
#2 creating and environment/event that allows you to experience music and to escape the everyday and be part of something different, something new.

We each have our own reasons for partying(raving). Some are purists for the music and some just need somewhere to go and get fucked up. Regardless, both need escape from the everyday that is condemning and bland. The thing that draws everyone to raves, is this common escape and toleration. Its a weird environment, created only for some hours, but its a fantastic one that keeps us coming back because its so good. Lets not get all bitchy and start becoming what we hate. Lets party, lets smile, lets help each other out, and for lets get some water for that really fucked up 12 year old shaking on the ground in the corner.

Hey, I've got a question. What happens at a normal club when some bloke gets too drunk and passes out on one of the tables? Hmmmm, oh yeah, I remember! He gets removed from the premises by bouncers/security. Here's a thought: people who are too f*cked up to stand on the dance floor are removed. I can already sense cleaner, less packed dance floors in our future.

I'd rather see this than strip searches at the door. I have multiple friends that roll on a consistant basis and I've never seen them sitting on the dance floor or shaking in a corner somewhere. Drugs, much like alcohol, do have the ability to ruin other people's time if overused. I have nothing against drugs, but I do have something against people's overuse that puts a nice little stain on my good time (and those around me).
