The info is coming from a source that works for Access. That's all I can disclose. Take it as you like, however, a pretty large run of TIs had manufacturing deficiencies. If your TI is trouble-free, it is probably because you either
A) Have not pushed your synth to where it would cause a problem
B) Got a later bach that may have had an improved system board
C) Not aware of the issue(s)
Here, try this:
Try setting up multi patch with 4 or so patches with say 2 patches with arp pattern - say, 1 patch would be your kick drum and another one is an arp bassline. Now, try playing around with this patch - do you hear any artifacts? Can you hear pops/clicks/glitches?
Same patch - save it. Now, go to single patches or better yet - turn off your synth, turn it back on (unplug). Go back to multi you created - do arp patterns remain or are they now gone? Does it still sound the same?
Still, same patch - try hitting 2 adjacent notes together - do notes get stuck?
Just some things to try.
