i did not go...I do like Joel's production work quite a bit but am not a fan of his sets. Could be the crowd...but I've heard him twice and both times he was up and down. When he's up its phenomenal, when he's down....i just don't like it. I will continue to support him by buying his music but the only way I will see him play is at events with other headliners on the bill.

I agree with the up and down thing but looks like he's getting a hang of it finally..this was the better set out of the past 3 times I've seen him.

im fully involved in the scene and have been for longer than i care to admit LOL. In fact i have the right to say that 99% of all of you are noobs! haha

I am not ashamed to say that the likes of Chris Sheppard, Energy 108, MC Mario and MC Sar and the Real Mccoy all were contributing factors to me becoming a "noob" in the electronic music scene.

So if today its danny d, z 103 and tiesto and deadmau5 then im all for it! We need a strong commercial dance scene in order to have anything close to a viable underground one (whatever that means anymore)

in short, we need new blood in order to keep it going.

but selfishness and asshole thinking is the new norm for canada amongst all aspects of life.

And hating on noobs draws on that to be honest.

while I was there I wanted them all to die... but you guys are right, the newcomers are a good thing, and they'll all slowly learn to be less and less douchey, as did all of us.... I'm sure I still have my moments

secondly, i dont think it matters where the noobs come from. i was a noob that stemmed from z103 when i first discovered the scene. all that matters is we expose new people to our music and hope they like it and continue to enjoy it. thats what will keep our scene alive.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA somebody can spell, and that someone aint me...I'm glad that your degree allowed you to kick my butt in this one HAHAHAH wow how amusing

SECONDLY...no need to get all defensive, i was just mentioning the obvious. Everyone has different opinions. You may go ahead and expose our music to the rest of the world as you are the guru of z103 scene transferring to the actual scene

HAHAH jokes

AGAIN I was not complaining, I was just mentioning my opinion.

And AGAIN people have different opinions, that's all. To me what matters the most is the party quality, the music quality and I could care less about the "crowd" lol

AGAIN...NOT COMPLAINING just voicing my opinion. This is a forum, which allows people to voice their opinions...so don't get offended lol

JUST SMILE AND PARTY ON

TRANCE4LIFE

PS. feel free to proofread this and send me the final copy

lol <3

we're back to the same old argument of the n00bs
I mean yeah, we all were n00bs at one point or another, but like someone already mentioned it - there is a difference between being a n00b in the scene and being an ignorant asshole who is there to get smashed/high and has NO interest whatsoever in the music being played
and they come in big numbers too
so I'm not sure how good is that tbh...

i think the ignorant asshole thing is how our society has become as a whole, not just within the party scene. there isnt really anything we can do about it since its already been unleashed.
