Mist live PA's are boring as piss. There are few artists who make enough amazing and wide ranging music to make them interesting.

I just don't enjoy hearing someone's entire catalog for an hour or 2.

Heartthrob was definitely more interesting. After the party got put on hold for about an hour because of the popo, he went relentless and murdered.

what kind of relentless music did he play? Was it the obvious M_nus influcences or did he have some surprises up his sleeve?

Go listen to some heartthrob tracks numb nuts, his last album is almost entirely devoid of M_nus plonk.

'Confessions' from his album is so fucking huge!

The funny thing about Minus that their artist albums are usually pretty quality.

Mathew Jonson doesn't count. He's on a different level than the rest of these jobbers.

He uses a fuckin 24 channel mixer when playing live.

I find myself to agree with you almost all the time but the fact that he uses a 24 channel mixer is totally irrelevant. And you know that since you're also a Live user.

Not to be an ass, but what Clovis said.

I personally think Heartthrob is one of the better names on the label, so I knew it would be more than just the typical M_nus stuff. I wouldn't say I'm an avid fan, so I can't list you tracks he played, but there was quite a few different moods. It was refreshing, really. Especially after hearing Radio Slave bang the same shit for about 2 hours.

Dude's a really cool guy too. Didn't give a shit when the popo showed up and actually encouraged that the show would go on. Told everyone to get their asses back on the floor and really appreciated the 40-50 of us who showed up and tolerated all the bullshit.

Troy Pierce plays next week and I hope he's on the same level.

The Track Carpe Noctum is like traffic but it hink he could of prefected the shit ouf it. but generalllyy its an amazing album...oh and Ten Seconds Before Sunrise is like Forever today TIMES 12

It's even more irrelevant since he admits himself he only uses 16 channels but the 24 looks cooler.

The point is MJ is a fucking G and can do whatever he wants.

He's def not in my favorites and usually plays too techno for me, but I did see him play for 8 hours at an after party once and he absolutely blew my mind.
