Well, I was told by the promoters that there might be an issue very late Friday night. Apparently the paperwork the club owner sent was for a work permit and not a visa, so it had nothing to do with not being "allowed" into the country. I'm assuming that Saeed Younan and his mangement were preparing for the flight on Friday when they realized this. The club owner did try to reslove it Sat but the decision was made to just reschedule I guess. Then the promoters switched the party to a "no cover" event and announced it.

I announced it on FB as well, so I don't think there was any attempt to "trick" anyone into believing he was still coming. Everyone I spoke to on Sat knew of the situation before they arrived as too.

It does suck though, I was really looking forward to that event. Hopefully they bring him back soon.
