they come for free with some affliction looking jackets at Target. I've never heard them before.

I wish I had my headphones had an i7 processor. Then I could listen to 4 songs at the same time. Albeit impractical, it sure would reinforce my superiority.

FAIL.

No sir, you fail. Bose is all hype. Bose aren't accurate because they don't have a flat frequency response (which is something that you would want in a high-end pair of headphones) and besides that they're very overpriced. They're like Macs, they cost twice what they should because of looks and hype. Many of them are also, in my experience, rather uncomfortable.

Someone tried to say they were better than my MDR 7506's...

I let him listen and he was like WTF, why don't I own a pair of these? His only complaint is he thought they were ugly as fck, however I think skull candy headphones look like someone with down syndrome designed them, lol

While I agree with most of what you are saying. You don't want a flat response from a high end pair of headphones unless it is for production. Most high end gear colours sound in a way that is very pleasing, sometimes quite a bit too.

On the subject, hit up superfi.co.uk for a shit hot pair of goldring ear buds for a steal.

I rock the Shure E3C's for the gym. Excellent sound, keeps me sufficiently pumped.

Every year buy a pair at Best Buy, switch out my old ones, return them for a full refund, and keep the freshies

That's not necessarily true. If the headphones you're using have a flat frequency response then you would hear the music the way it is. A person who is buying high end headphones probably isn't listening to mp3's @ 128kbps, I would imagine that person is listening to music in a lossless format (or at least mp3 @ 320kbps). Therefore, the headphones having little (few headphones are totally flat afaik) effect on the sound, the sound would be good because the source of the sound is good.

Floyd, what'd you recommend for some earbuds? I need some new ones, I'm sick of apple ones falling apart every couple months.
