Also on the eBook readers- since when has carrying around a book ever been a problem?

They market the Kindle, the Nook, and now the iPad as the solution to carrying around all these books. Who reads more than one book at a time? Why do I need a device to hold 1,000 books especially after I read them and won't touch them again?

Not to mention when you do a price comparison, buying books the old-fashioned way wins every time.

You could buy 17 books at $15 each...more than a year of reading, for the same price as buying a Kindle with jack shit on it.

The eBook reader market will always be a niche market until they can figure out how to price the books and devices cheaper.

the only thing that would actually get hurt in market share with this is the amazon kindle thats about it. the prices with 3g and better HDD are kinda steep for a tablet. for $600 u can get a dual core laptop with all functions or adding $100 to the 32gb wiht wifi u can get a macbook.

I'm a Snr Analyst for a F500 Publishing Company, the eBook world is niche but it's in high demand. I have pricing models and market share analysis that say the digital ebook world is here to stay.

For the future yes, but right now with the current market in it's infancy, and with all the setbacks, it's illogical to own an eBook reader.

I'd drop that ****** in about 5mins. I mean physically, it has nothing to hold onto.

Maybe rename it the iDrop, brings tears to your eyes.
