TUE 6–JULY 14 RUNNING OF THE BULLS
A trip to Spain may not be in the cards this summer, but you can still enjoy the adrenaline-fueled fun of the annual San Fermín festival from the safety of La Fonda del Sol. SUN 11 MEATOPIA: BBQ NYC
Cash in tasting tickets for BBQ specialties from more than 30 celebrated chefs and pit masters (including Fatty ’Cue’s Robbie Richter) at this carnivorous bacchanal. You’ll also find live bands and suds from Sixpoint Craft Ales. Governors Island (meatopia.org). 11:30am–4:30pm; $25–$150.

MON 12–JULY 25 SUMMER RESTAURANT WEEK

i went here the day of the WC Final (sunday)- ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!!

great atmosphere, the people are incredible- such unity, the food is good (forgot what we ordered but yea...meat, meat, meat and fried yucas ) and big portions for the price, drinks...well, i was just sippin on heinys but $4 cant beat that!!! the guy i met up with was really cool...got there around 4ish, small place on broadway with a huge brasilian flag in the front window with a backdoor that led to all the surrealism...

he was telling me how everyone, which seemed to be regulars, come from the beach n other places to have a good time and enjoy the night away..i was soooo impressed, everyone was so friendly, greeted me, the women were beautiful, lots of dancing to the GREATTTT live music- fell in love with this place! def a spot to hit up on the regular
