Funny thing, my name combines one of my favorite pro-wrestlers (Eddie Guerrero aka Latino Heat) and one of my favorite playstation games (Bushido Blade). I'd love to study kenjutsu, swords fascinate me, but I have no time and no money lol
without getting to sidetracked, yeah i know if you can get a traditional katana from japan it would cost a penny or two thats for sure...

There are the cheaper Chinese replica blades that work decently for cutting purposes (and look decently), and I'm not talking about those stainless steal blades but the carbon steel ones that actually rust if they don't get oil on them.
Processing a highly structured and complex pattern of sensory input as a unified percept of "music" is probably one of the most elaborate features of the human brain.....understanding how music is perceived and how it may elicit intense sensations is far from being understood.

www.blender.org - optional Python download also available for use with some of Blender's plug-ins (I haven't used any that have required Python but it is installed on my machines.)
Just FYI: It took a little over a year to get to the point where I am with it. I highly recommend taking, at least (as I did), the beginner's tutorial videos. I might have gotten farther, faster if I'd taken all of the tutorials available. The artwork they have on their website is incredible and Blender even does animation.
Expect to make a metric fuck ton of horrible renderings before you get to something people can appreciate. Most of what I've made has gotten a lot of laughs from my family. I've only recently gotten into doing modeling for animals and human-beings and don't even have a clue about how to implement rigging (so that an arm can actually twist like it's supposed to instead of turning into something that looks like it got caught in a Kitchen-Aid Industrial Mixer).

i've had an interest in video/art in general for a while. no formal training in video or anything like that. however, i took the initiative to start a project that involves video and sound. basically a soundtrack for a bunch of shorts that are evolutionary like a tv show with a beginning and end, just much shorter in episode length. i've been working on it for a year come next week. i got a local pond/hiking location to close public admission last summer for for around half a month in total when we were filming there
i've always said to not rush creativity, no matter how little training you may have in whichever field you're interested in. if it takes more time to accomplish a certain goal because you don't know how to go about completing it, then so be it. it's especially vital to these private projects that you're in no rush to complete. there are no deadlines, no rules or expectations

I think china have just about replicated everything, even traditional japanese swords.. that must sit well with the japs.

I've got into growing some herbs and veg lately - real satisfying feeling getting rotted manure into the warm soil and making into a fine tilth, then watching magical stuff happen from seeds.
Bit like production really, I start with a little seed and hopefuly something might bloom.
Cryo's studio photos I've always thought are just great.
Love to make a film, I'm always messing about with handycams taking wierd films from low down angles with light streaming from one side.
I think many of us ultimatley have a desire to leave a mark on the world, even if small.
