Review J.O.C.
Last night was truly amazing. Thank you to Taj, and 1015 for allowing my new Dj crew Transcend Productions to host the Cirque Lounge!
I've looked for a group of Djs to start Transcend up again, and Niko, C-Kay, Nimerix, James Morrison and 4N did an awesome job. They all have been djin raves around the bay area, and rocked it the night before at Bass Jam with a packed room. Really great djs who promote parties, even ones they don't play. They definitely brought a younger audience to 1015, which is what I really hoped for their debut. Have to say, the Cirque Lounge was packed throughout the night with their supporters, and alot of people who came to 1015 for their first time last night. Really awesome to see that their friends, stayed in the room to support them throughout the night. Having done events and playin in that room, its pretty hard to fill, They had no problem in keeping it busy. Great Job guys. Everyone who came down thanks for rockin out!
I did arrive late 10:20 to be exact. Combined with John Beavers 400 Person Guestlist and Transcends combined list of 820, the guestlist line was down the corner, and past the Cheveron gas station! Honestly was not expecting all those people to show up, total shock when I got there and saw that line. I havent seen that line like that since Paul Oakenfold way back when. When the mainroom opened up, by 11:10PM it felt like it was 2:00AM. Overall feel was like a headliner was on when Beaver rocked his second track. Not from the music he was playin which was SPOT ON, but just the overall vibe of 1015 itself. Felt much later in the night and only like 10 minutes in. People tuning into the broadcast on mugasha shared the same excitement too.
JOC was awesome allowing us to broadcast his set last night along with the video. Looks like some of you tuned in which was way awesome. Thanks for those of you who tuned in on your computers, and iphones. Played an awesome 4 hour set, Haven't heard bangin trance like that in a long time!
In my honest opinion, John Beaver always rocks wherever he goes. I can say the night before he turned it up by filling the entire room to a crowd of supporters and ravers who stayed for his entire set at Bass Jam at Kelly's. I was actually happy not to follow up behind him, cause he is a hard act to follow. Definitely one of the hardest working Djs I know.
Last night was amazing from start to finish, and we hope you all had a great time. Really lookin forward to Ismael and Apsara next week tho, as I missed the Jonathan Allyn event last time, and when they did a Tag Team last.
+1 on TulliNation's comment.
