Exactly the same here - I forget most of this stuff until someone (such as katmaus) reminds me through a good discussion.

Sometimes you need to "say it out loud" to remember that you know this stuff and get you thinking about it again.

Bit late, but you could get the Xone32 and work out a swap with Excess for a DJM-400 if you don't like it. :P
