The last time I had been at the Music Box was 2+ years ago when M-Dance (whatever happened to them?) had brought Yahel and Astral Projection. I can't say I saw huge differences. The dancefloor has been extended to the back towards the bar and the area in front of the bar substantially reduced. There are vip tables now on the left and right instead of the walkways or couches that were there before. There is also a square "production control" area (I think) towards the back of the dancefloor. The lighting is very good. The rooftop was always there; it used to have couches and a bar before; the bar may still be there but now the only people that can sit are in the cabanas. The second floor balcony was open (when I was there before it was closed); its lower area overlooking the dancefloor and stage is vip seating area. Not fully packed but decent crowd. I complained at another thread about will call not getting immediate admission and face control going on. I'd add that they were telling people at the door that Sander would come on at 12:30 but he still wasn't on at 1:15 when I left. I didn't use the restroom, so I can't comment on the condition. Overall a good experience, with names like Sander and Eddie Halliwell there will be good turnouts; I saw quite a few familiar faces.
