Just out of the blue, let me throw in a few comments too:

Some Benzes might be shitty, but they are still better than 90% of the cars on the market... then again, Benz can't even compare with BMWs and their technology (it can, but still, BMW ownz)!!!

And yeah, what a hell are these people thinking today buying 1992 cars for like 2-3 grand and then dropping a freaking $30,000 in it, just to fix it up so it looks nice and runs fast. Fuck that shit... I'd rather trust engineers at BMW with my money (and get me a brand new beemer, only if I had the 'dinero')....

i remeber I was reading this mag a while ago and they showed this guy and his car. yeah he souped up his 2001 FORD Focus, and he spent like $100,000 grand just to make it look nice! what a moron!

- Allow you to plug directly into ANY mixer without a phono in or ground cable?
- How about connecting directly to your computer or other digital sampler?
- What about "Key Adjust" changing the tempo (bpm) without changing the pitch (note)?
- You can even use the MP3 line in sending audio through your turntable without having to even touch your mixer.
- Blue LED's & indicators? Yeah you can only if you buy them separately!
- High torque direct drive motor (2.2 Kgf-cm)!
- Selectable pitch control [+/-8%, +/-16%, +/-25%]? Stanton's have the highest pitch control adjustment on the market, except for Vestax decks.
- Adjustable feet? So if some mother******s jump around and shake the deck nothing happens to the needle it don't fucking skip or jump! Can your TT's do that?
- AC 115V/230V, 50/60Hz? Only comes with Techs 1210's does not come with the standard 1200 model!

You might say WTF do you need all those features for? I say creativity, you can always do new and exciting stuff with it, and advance your skills as a DJ. Where as the Technics have stayed the same old model with a few slight modifications over the last 25 years or so!

Of course, you're still missing the point. Tech's are industry standard. And you using "supposedly" better decks, are going to screw yourself over when you become an actual DJ and are in front of Technics, with there weaker torque and less pitch selection.
Anyhow... the technic's debate isn't the same debate, in terms of conformity.
