I know everyone preaches about BOSE and noise cancellation etc. but there wasn't a big difference with between the JVC's and these. Also I lost of one of the rubber ear-bud ends and they're now garbage. Went back to the JVC's and havent' looked back. Sometimes its not about the name brands ya know? Also I'm talking only ear-buds. For those of you who aren't using them and are still using the horrible ipod (white) headphones change'm up, others don't care what you're listening to while you're killing your hearing.

My $.02

Only the SUPER HIGH END full ear covering Bose headphones are Noise Cancelling. They never claim that the in ear buds are. They are neither noise cancelling, or noise reducing.

TBH, I only got them, because I got them for super cheap (virtually free) and they sound is amazing, yet not the best I've ever had. The best in ear earbuds I've ever had were Skullcandy's. Now those were noise reduction and the bass/quality was incomparable.

Whats a great earbud to get that's under $50?

I have a nice pair of Shure's, but left them on the airplane

Don't want to spend much to get something decent. Just something better than my Blackberry Headphones right now haha.

I have Etymotic ER6i earbuds and dirt-cheap Sennheiser HD437s.

I can't find the Etymotics now, which sucks, because they weren't cheap.

Everyone that wears headphones of this size out on the street looks like a total knob.
since i dont give a rat's ass what most people in the world think of me, i dont mind wearing a big ass headphone for day to day use

though some of the looks i get when i'm doing crazy head bobs to some hard techno is pretty hilarious

FUCK! I lost one of the ear buds on my sonys (and have misplaced the other size buds so I am totally bud-less)

As karma would have it, if I can't find replacement ones between now and my flight tomorrow I'm taking the massive DJ phones, lol.

go to the sony store...they'll have a pack of washers for sale...When I lost the washers for my AKGs, i went to moog and picked up a replacement pack...costs about 5 bucks or so.
